The Revelation Test

How can you know a message really came from God — and that it is true? There is no score and no trick. You tell us what you believe. We follow your answers.

This test does not try to prove Christianity false. It asks one simple question: if the Bible says false spiritual messages can happen, how can we know the messages in the Bible are the true ones?

Before we begin

When Christians have a strong answer, we will show it. We will not use weak replies just to make the test easier. You can also go back and change any answer.

We will keep three questions separate: Does God lie? Can God allow deception? and if false spiritual messages can happen, how do we tell the true ones from the false ones?

Sources & notes

This test uses the Bible itself and includes serious Christian replies, not just skeptical ones. If a verse or translation is debated, we say so and let you leave it out.

What this test does not claim: it does not prove that Moses, Isaiah, Paul, John, or any other Bible writer was deceived. It asks a simpler question: if false spiritual messages can happen, how can we know which messages really came from God?
